Noubar started his career as a consultant at Robert Langdon. He then left to launch a tech-enabled logistics business in EMEA. After successfully growing and exiting his venture, he immigrated to the U.S. to pursue his passion in entrepreneurship and technology investing. He first joined Continuum Investment Advisors, a New York based hedge fund, as a quant researcher. There, he lead a team of financial engineers in building trade automation engines yielding high Sharpe ratios. He then moved to Silicon Valley, to join ESO Fund, a data driven investment firm as a quantitative risk analyst where he managed the company’s public portfolio, hedging securities in lock-up periods against market risk. Following that, Noubar joined BCV initially focusing on investments in computational software and machine learning technologies. He eventually transitioned to an operating role and currently serves as the firm’s CFO.
Noubar holds a MS in Operations Research from Columbia University and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Beirut. He is fluent in six languages including Arabic, Armenian, English, French, Spanish and Turkish.
